Terms of Service

Last updated: 9 August 2026
This is a working draft written to cover what Atronet actually does today. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer — have it checked before relying on it for a live paying customer base, especially for anything involving SMS/TCPA compliance in your specific jurisdiction.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of Atronet (the "Service"), operated by Atronet ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent ("you", "your business").

1. What the Service does

Atronet provides automated "digital team" agents — including an SMS receptionist that answers and books appointments over text, and optional client-care, marketing, finance, and operations agents — for small businesses. Messages your customers receive may be drafted by an AI model (Anthropic's Claude) and sent via Twilio. You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information (hours, services, pricing) you provide, since agents draft replies based on it.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your login credentials secure. You're responsible for activity on your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. SMS messaging and consent

By connecting a phone number to Atronet, you confirm you have the right to send automated text messages to the customers whose numbers you provide (e.g. through prior consent, an existing business relationship, or your customers texting your number first). You are responsible for complying with applicable messaging laws in your jurisdiction — for UK businesses, this includes the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and guidance from the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO); for US-connected numbers, this includes the TCPA and CTIA guidelines. Atronet automatically honors STOP/UNSUBSCRIBE/CANCEL/END/QUIT replies as an opt-out and START/UNSTOP as an opt-in, and will not send further automated messages to a number that has opted out. You must not use the Service to send unsolicited marketing texts to numbers that haven't consented to receive them.

4. Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe, our payment processor. Atronet never stores your card details directly. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; you can cancel or update payment details at any time from your dashboard's billing portal. Fees already billed are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. Third-party integrations

The Service may connect to Google Calendar, Calendly, Microsoft/Outlook Calendar, Twilio, Stripe, and Anthropic on your behalf, using access you explicitly grant. Revoking this access today requires contacting us at jacob@atronet.co or revoking Atronet's access directly from the third-party provider's own account settings (e.g. Google's or Microsoft's connected-apps page) — an in-dashboard disconnect control is not yet available for every integration. We are not responsible for outages or errors originating from these third-party services.

6. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to send unlawful, harassing, deceptive, or fraudulent messages; to send messages to numbers that haven't consented; to attempt to access another business's data; or to interfere with the Service's operation.

7. Your data

You retain ownership of your business and customer data. You can export a copy of your data at any time from your dashboard, and request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time — see our Privacy Policy for details.

8. Service availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Automated replies are drafted by an AI model and may occasionally be inaccurate — the Service is a tool to assist your business, not a substitute for your own oversight of customer communications.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atronet is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, don't pay outstanding fees, or send unlawful/unsolicited messages.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute arising from them or your use of the Service is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
